What airport and when do I fly in? The airport you fly into is Mazatlan Mexico. For the 4 day package you fly in on a Sunday and fly out the following Thursday. For the 7 day package you fly in on a Sunday and fly out the following Sunday. Airport pickup time is at 3:00 PM. If you get in later we will wait at the airport for you. If you get in earlier we ask that you wait until the pick up time. For identification purposes we will be wearing Billabong Camps T- shirt.

Do I have to arrive and leave on the designated scheduled days? You do not have to arrive or leave on the designated scheduled days. However there will be an extra airport transportation fee of $50.00 per trip to the airport when you do not arrive or leave on these days.

Where is the camp? Do I need to arrange transport? The camp is a short 1-hour 15-minute drive north of the city of Mazatlan. It is located in a small fishing village (see pictures). You do not need to arrange transport. We pick you up from the airport and take you back on your day of departure.

Does Sinaloa Surf School arrange airfare? Is airfare included in the packages? No we do not arrange airfare. You arrange airfare on your own. No, it is not included in the package. Once you have your arrival and departure times arranged please email them to us.

What should I pack? Some items that you will need will be energy bars, backpack, hat, swimsuit, rash guard, passport, sunglasses, mosquito repellant, and sunblock.

What is the refund policy and reservation policy? Sinaloa Surf School has only a limited number of vacancies. These are in HIGH demand and therefore there is a nonrefundable $250.00 deposit to secure your spot. Your reservation is not held until we receive this payment. The remaining balance of your trip MUST be paid 30 days prior to your arrival. We reserve the right to reopen your spot if your balance is not paid by this date. Do not book your airfare until you have received a "payment of deposit" confirmation from us. We do not offer refunds if you cancel after 30 days prior to your trip.

Do I need a passport for Mexico? You do need a passport for Mexico. If traveling with a person under the age of 18 that person needs a permission slip from both parents. If you do not have a passport and need expedited service visit http://www.uspassportbureau.com/. Otherwise you can get an application at your local post office.

When is the school open? We are open from early November to late March.

How many people can stay in a week? The school holds a maximum of 12 people per week (two per room). If one group we can accommodate 15 guests.

What is the weather like that time of year? The weather is very nice. The air temperature usually averages around 70 degrees with sunny days. It is a good idea to bring a set of warm clothes for the evenings.

What are the age groups? The school is open to all age's men, women, and children.

Is it a good vacation/place for my kids? There is no better vacation for your family. Kids absolutely love it! There is so much for them to do and explore. The school provides the perfect opportunity to spend time with your family outdoors while learning a sport that the entire family will love. Come down and build memories with your friends and family that will last a lifetime.
